Claire Rousay (CA)
02.04.25 – 8PM
The Canadian-American artist Claire Rousay bends the boundaries of experimental and ambient music, weaving together textural found sounds, sumptuous drones, and raw field recordings to uncover beauty in life’s quiet, unremarkable moments. Her live performances are intimate and unfiltered—marked by sharp reflexivity, disarming honesty, and a wry sense of humor. With each show, a growing audience steps into her singular sonic world, ready to listen.

Molina (DK/CL)
10.04.25 – 8PM
Danish-Chilean producer and composer Molina crafts a sound that blurs the lines between the digital and the organic. Based in Copenhagen, she weaves sample-based production with hand-played instrumentation, creating vast, dreamlike soundscapes. Guitars slash through with jagged textures, melodies warp like a pixelated sunset—always shifting, always just out of reach.
-
Cero Ismael (NL)
17.04.25 – 8PM
Cero Ismael, an Amsterdam-born artist with Surinamese, Dutch, and Indonesian roots, blends alternative R&B, hip-hop, indie, and electronic influences into a raw yet hopeful sound. His music, like a nighttime cityscape, is melancholic and reflective. On stage, he balances vulnerability and strength, challenging stereotypes and addressing mental health. Through deeply personal yet universal themes, he forges a powerful connection with a growing global audience.

Porches (US)
24.04.25 – 8PM
Porches is the ever-evolving project of Aaron Maine, a fusion of raw vulnerability and distorted euphoria. Blurring the lines between persona and confession, his music pulses with restless energy—balancing intimate storytelling with a theatrical edge. Rooted in both DIY grit and pop ambition, Porches crafts songs that feel like late-night transmissions from a dream just out of reach. Grungy textures collide with lush melodies, while his unmistakable voice drifts between detachment and deep feeling. Always evolving, always searching, Porches is less about arriving somewhere and more about chasing the feeling—whatever shape it takes next.

Fine (DK)
01.05.25 – 8PM
Fine is a Danish singer-songwriter and producer crafting songs that feel both intimate and boundless. Her debut solo album, Rocky Top Ballads, arrived on Escho in 2024, weaving together hazy, delicate melodies with a quiet confidence. Her voice drifts effortlessly over a blend of sample-based production, electronics, and organic instrumentation—pulling from a deep-rooted love of folk and country. The result is something weightless yet grounded, a sound that lingers like a half-remembered dream.
-
Frederik Valentin (DK)
08.05.25 – 8PM
Frederik Valentin has long outgrown his enfant terrible beginnings, turning his focus toward introspective composition and cinematic songcraft. Swapping hedonism for depth, the Copenhagen-based artist has built a rich body of work, collaborating with Yung Lean, Loke Rahbek, and Lust For Youth’s Hannes Norrvide, among others. His latest solo album, Rock N Roll Will Never Die, refines these influences into melodic reveries—balancing propulsive energy with intricate detail. Written and recorded at home, the album captures fleeting moments of domestic life, from sun-drenched jams with his daughter to vocoder-laced reflections on identity. Whether embracing Balearic euphoria or stripped-down songwriting, Valentin remains committed to honesty above all else.

RIP Swirl & Ydegirl (DE-DK)

Berlin-based producer RIP Swirl operates at the more introspective edges of experimental dance music. His sound drifts between club energy and solitude, a balance that has seen him share stages with Nosaj Thing, Jacques Greene, and Ross From Friends. Ydegirl, the moniker of Danish singer, songwriter, composer, and producer Andrea Novel, blends deconstructed baroque instrumentation with dreamy alt-rock in spare, haunting tracks. Her music shifts and creaks like the natural world—beautiful and unpredictable, yet capable of a cruelty that cuts deep.

Football culture is built on passion—by those who shape the atmosphere from the stands, dedicate countless hours behind the scenes, and create artistry on the pitch. In celebration of this, adidas Originals has teamed up with photographer Josefine Seifert to capture the intensity and spirit of an FC Copenhagen women’s team training session as they prepare for the final stretch of the season. A tribute to the players writing the latest chapter of the club’s story.
For the session, Copenhagen-based artist Amanda Lydert designed custom jerseys for each player, adding a contemporary layer to football’s deep cultural narrative—bridging the energy of the crowd, the identity of the city, and the commitment on the field.
The series of photographs and custom jerseys will be exhibited at originalstudio, launching with an opening event on Tuesday, April 22nd, from 5:30 PM to 9 PM.
Introducing the series of customised jerseys by Amanda Lydert for F.C. Copenhagen W and adidas Originals.
The heart of the customisation lies in the back of the jerseys—an extra stitched layer flows across names and numbers. Screen-printed onto sheer light blue fabric are three hymn excerpts, written in tribute to the sharp-jawed daughters of F.C. Copenhagen W.
The adidas logo is reimagined to reflect the team’s pride—a collective of lionesses. Elongated and hand-cut, each block transforms into a unique claw mark, placed boldly on the front. Every collar is crafted from a second-hand shirt, referencing iconic jerseys of the 60s to 90s. Paired with mini-skirts made from the shirt’s lower half, they offer a playful contrast to the collar’s sharp structure.
Scrimmage vests are tailored from dusty blue silk organza—an impractical but intentional choice, insisting romance has a place in the daily routines of the game.
In the lead-up to the Copenhagen Marathon, the originalstudio will evolve into a hub connecting running, knowledge on nutrition and drills with music and creative industries, breaking new ground with special events to be announced. During the launch event, attendees can also create their own silkscreen-printed t-shirts on-site, inspired by the Copenhagen Marathon and designed by Astrae Studio.
